An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Health and Safety professional to join a leading social housing contractor in Winchester as a Group Health and Safety Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills and be able to inspire and motivate the health and safety team to drive a culture of health, safety and wellbeing throughout the organisation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing comprehensive health and safety strategies for various social housing projects.
  • Navigating complex health and safety challenges with ease, utilising negotiation and influence to secure support from stakeholders.
  • Establishing robust H&S processes and procedures aligned with industry standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and developing proactive measures to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Providing expert guidance and training to staff members to enhance their safety awareness.
  • Leading a team of H+S Advisers across various social housing maintenance workstreams.

We estimate the salary for this position to be £78,000 per annum.
