Job Title: Therapeutic Care Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Care Worker to join our team at Greenfields House, a specialist residential children's home in Kent. As a Therapeutic Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children aged 5-13 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to create a therapeutic environment, supporting children's individual needs and goals.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive living environment, promoting a sense of belonging and community among children.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in child psychotherapy and residential care.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £31,600 per annum.
  • 40 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Up to 6% employer pension contribution.
  • Health benefit and life assurance.
  • The opportunity to become a qualified child psychotherapist while working in a children's home.
  • 45 working hours per week, plus sleep-in duties.
