Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Care Worker to join our team at Oakwood House, a specialist residential children's home in Kent. As a Therapeutic Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children aged 11-16.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to create a therapeutic environment, supporting children's individual needs and goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring children receive the best possible support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in child psychotherapy and residential care.
  • Engage in sleep-in duties and contribute to the overall well-being of the children in our care.

Requirements

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for working with children. Experience in therapeutic care or residential settings is desirable, but not essential. We are committed to supporting and training suitable candidates without experience.
