Job Title: Therapeutic Care Worker - Oakwood House

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Care Worker to join our team at Oakwood House, a specialist residential children's home in Kent.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as part of a team to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children aged 11-16 years. The role involves developing therapeutic relationships with children, working with external stakeholders to meet their needs, and contributing to the overall well-being of the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapeutic support to children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall well-being of the children in our care
  • Support the training and development of colleagues
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic care. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children therapeutically or in a residential setting, although we are willing to support and train suitable candidates without experience.
