About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Manager to join our team in Scotland and the North of England. As a key member of our planning team, you will be responsible for leading the planning function on our Scottish frameworks and projects in the North of England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective planning strategies to drive programme delivery and productivity improvements.
  • Lead a team of planners to deliver high-quality planning services and ensure the integration of planning tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement commercial and contract strategies.
  • Drive the development of leadership skills and effective communication strategies to engage with Executive and Senior Management teams.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes to enhance the skills of the wider VolkerStevin team.
Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of planning practices and tools, with a focus on 4D planning and visualisation.
  • Commercial and contract knowledge, with experience of managing complex contracts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives.
