Job Summary

Reed Finance is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning Director to lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function of the organization. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for establishing and supervising the FP&A function, focusing on delivering technical and analytical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects within the finance team to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness in a robust internal control environment.
  • Shape and lead the future of the FP&A function, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Manage a team of accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial analysis and planning.
  • Identify opportunities for improving information provision, developing analytical and reporting skills within the team.

Requirements

  • Full qualification as a chartered accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAS).
  • Previous experience in an FP&A role, with a strong track record of delivering strategic financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience, with a deep understanding of financial planning and analysis principles.
