Job Overview:
As a Behaviour Support Specialist at Educators Wales, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day management of our school's inclusion team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver pastoral and learning support to learners, utilising appropriate strategies and resources.

The ideal candidate will have relevant work experience, patience, understanding, resilience, and a caring attitude to build positive relationships with learners. Key responsibilities include supporting learners in accessing learning, providing pastoral and learning support, and working under the guidance of the school leadership team.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS). We welcome applications from all backgrounds, particularly minority ethnic communities represented in the city.

We offer a generous pension scheme, discounted Newport Live membership, and the Cycle to Work Scheme as benefits. The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £33,000 per annum, SCP 18-12, pro rata.
