Job Overview

This position involves providing personalized care and support to service users in their own homes or within the community. As a Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with domestic tasks, maintaining a safe living environment, and promoting independence.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience. A full driving license is essential for this role, as you may be required to transport service users.

Creative Support Ltd offers a comprehensive training program, including QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care, to help you develop your skills and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to service users, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with domestic tasks, such as household chores and meal preparation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and involved professionals to ensure a coordinated and person-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with the line manager to ensure the smooth operation of the service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A warm and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills through our comprehensive training program.
