Job Description
RPS Group is seeking an experienced Principal Civil or Highway Engineer to join our team. This role will be within the infrastructure department, working on projects related to aviation and highways.
About the Role
As a Principal Civil or Highway Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the production of 3D models using Civil 3D modelling software, producing drawings from the model, and coordinating the production of detailed drawing and specification output. You will also perform project and drawing/model reviews to ensure technical requirements are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Discipline lead for the production of 3D models using Civil 3D modelling software
- Production of drawings from the 3D model
- Coordination of the production of detailed drawing and specification output
- Project and drawing/model reviews to ensure technical requirements are achieved
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be Chartered or Incorporated with a relevant professional body or have a Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Level 6 qualification. You should also be proficient in creating Civil 3D models and extracting sections and quantities from the model.
