Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Practice at WTW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and developing client and WTW relationships, growing portfolio within the business unit, and targeting and converting prospects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Understand the clients' business and their risk management needs and look for solutions to deliver those needs through the provision of ongoing service.
  • Business Development
    • Actively support the drive of the sales process and business area practice activity in relation to winning, retaining and developing profitable new clients.
  • Placement Management
    • Work closely and maintain working relationships with the market contacts (and the Broking Team) as required.
  • Operational and Service Delivery
    • Lead and deliver the end-to-end ongoing client service, adhering to standardized policies, procedures, and service standards while supporting the BU in accurate budgeting, forecasting, and tracking of revenue.
    • Provide feedback on corrective action required to retain clients or enhance process performance, actively supporting the implementation of any actions that are put in place.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the retail, leisure, and hospitality sectors, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
