Chief Cardiac Physiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our expanding echocardiography service as a Chief Cardiac Physiologist. The successful candidate will have a strong background in performing and reporting adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and will be responsible for contributing to the development of our echocardiography service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and report TTE independently, with a strong emphasis on clinical competence and knowledge in echocardiography.
- Contribute to the development of subspecialty expertise in echocardiography, including contrast/bubble, stress, and transoesophageal echocardiography.
- Support the expansion of our local echocardiography service, including the development of a cardio-respiratory Community Diagnostic Hub.
- Collaborate with consultants, registrars, and junior staff to provide a high-quality echocardiography service.
- Participate in continued professional development, including attending relevant courses and meetings, and actively encourage post-graduate exams.
