Cardiac Physiologist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at the Royal Brompton Hospital, a leading specialist heart and lung centre in the UK. As a Band 7 Chief Cardiac Physiologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac physiology service.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert clinical care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including pacemaker and ICD implantations, and follow-up care.
- Work closely with senior colleagues to assist with departmental training and development of junior staff.
- Participate in quality control and technical audit as part of the Trust's clinical governance program.
- Assist in the development of new techniques and technologies in invasive and non-invasive cardiology.
- Contribute to the development of policies and protocols for the pacing department.
- BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or recognized equivalent.
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification.
- Postgraduate specialist qualification in devices (BHRS, IBHRE, or equivalent).
- Pacing experience performing at a Band 7 level.
- Experience in a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques (both non-invasive and in cath lab).
- Registration with AHCS (RCCP).
- Membership of BHRS or equivalent association.
- Clinical experience in CRM (Implant and follow-up).
- Exposure to paediatric pacing.
