We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive cardiac investigations, analyzing ECG and BP recordings, and assisting in exercise tolerance testing, head-up tilt testing, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform resting ECGs and ambulatory ECG and BP recordings
- Analyze ECG and BP recordings, including event recorders
- Support exercise stress echoes and exercise tolerance testing
- Support head-up tilt table testing and ILR implant and follow-up
- Provide technical and clinical advice to peers, juniors, and students
- Supervise and mentor junior colleagues and students
- BSc in Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification
- Experience of fitting and analyzing ECG and blood pressure monitors
- Strong underpinning knowledge of exercise tolerance testing, resting and ambulatory ECG and BP recording and interpretation
