Nuffield Health, a leading healthcare organisation, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at our brand-new hospital in London.
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to lead our multidisciplinary team and provide senior-level expertise in non-invasive cardiac investigations, specifically Echocardiography and Non-invasive services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Echocardiography and Non-invasive services, working flexibly across different areas.
- Manage Cardiology patients, working within a busy service across various diagnostic investigations.
- Provide senior-level knowledge and experience, leading, motivating, educating, and supervising the Physiology and wider multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver high-quality, clinically effective patient care and contribute to developing and building our charitable aims.
Requirements:
- Competent and independent in Transthoracic Echocardiography, with a desire to learn and run Physiologist-led Exercise Stress Echocardiography clinics.
- BSE accreditation is essential in TTE.
- Experienced in supporting clinicians in Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography.
- Desirably independent in PPM follow-up.
