Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic services, specializing in Echocardiography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of highly specialist cardiac ultrasound investigations, measurements, and analysis, and interpret findings to issue final clinically diagnostic reports.
  • Provide assistance in the performance of cardiac investigations relevant to your specialist field.
  • Assist in the supervision and training of other echocardiographers, cardiac physiologists, doctors, and students.
  • Assist the lead Cardiac Physiologist in the provision, organization, and development of the services of the department.
Requirements
  • BSc Clinical Physiology (or equivalent)
  • BSE/EACVI Accreditation (or equivalent)
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • BLS
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Performing and reporting transthoracic echocardiograms to a high standard
  • Performing imaging and reporting stress echocardiograms with limited supervision
Skills and Knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workloads and demonstrate initiative
  • Ability to cope with heavy workloads
  • IT literate
