Job Title: Lead Chief Cardiac Physiologist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cardiac Physiologist to lead our Interventional and Pacing services on the QEH site. As a Lead Chief Cardiac Physiologist, you will be responsible for managing the department, developing quality standards, and implementing state-of-the-art replacement of Cardiac Catheter Lab.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the Interventional and Pacing services for cardiology on the QEH site.
  • Work with lead Physiologist to develop and maintain quality Standards of all investigations and staff.
  • Support the implementation of state-of-the-art replacement of Cardiac Catheter Lab.
  • Provide leadership for complex pacing implant and follow-up services and training for junior Physiologist staff.
  • Ensure services are provided within budgetary limits, maintaining Quality and Governance standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Senior physiologist registered with a professional body.
  • Degree or equivalent clinical/advanced practice.
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.
  • Master's Degree or working towards.
