Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team on a maternity cover basis. As a specialist in medical care, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the school's medical and first aid provision.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and qualified individual to provide medical/first aid care to students and staff. You will be responsible for replenishing and storing medical supplies, providing on-site treatment of minor ailments and injuries, and maintaining accurate medical records.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. They will also be comfortable in a busy environment, well-organized, and self-motivated.
Key Responsibilities- Provision of medical/first aid care to students and staff
- Replenishment and storage of medical supplies
- On-site treatment of minor ailments and injuries
- Maintenance of accurate medical records
- Coordination of first aid packs for school trips and provision of advice to staff members
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- Experience in a people-related environment
- Experience working with young people
- Suitability for working with young people
