We are seeking a highly skilled Family Support Coordinator to join our Children in Care Team within the Social Care sector at Ackerman Pierce Ltd.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans, addressing the complex needs and risks faced by children and families, in collaboration with families and professional networks.
  • Empower children, young people, and carers to participate meaningfully in planning and decision-making processes, respecting their rights and interests.
  • Provide evidence-based support and intervention to meet individual child and family needs, promoting positive outcomes and well-being.
  • Negotiate and challenge other professionals and organizations to provide required assistance, securing access to essential services and resources.
  • Engage in direct work with individual children, families, or foster/adoptive carers, developing trusting relationships and delivering tailored support.
  • Chair professional and formal meetings related to service users, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

Compensation Package

The salary for this role is approximately £37,500 per annum, recognizing the value and expertise brought by experienced Family Support Coordinators. This competitive compensation package ensures that our staff are motivated and equipped to deliver exceptional care and support to our clients.
