Job Description
Bournemouth Borough Council's Children and Family Support Worker plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of children and families across our community. This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, with 42 weeks' employment each year (term time plus three additional weeks).

Responsibilities
- Early pastoral, behavioral, EAL, and SEND interventions
- Preventative support, guidance, and advice to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families
- Collaboration with pupils, families, and other agencies to address needs and concerns
- Contribution to the overall vision and values of the school through teamwork and partnership-working

Requirements
- Passion for helping children and families thrive
- Knowledge and experience in working with children and families, including safeguarding
- Ability to build on existing good practice in the school
- Empathy, sensitivity, and resilience
- Excellent communication skills and a sense of humor

Salary
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on the national average for similar roles in the UK.
