Job Description

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in family support and child welfare, with excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of our clients, while also collaborating with other teams to ensure a holistic approach to family support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily operations of the child contact centre, including supervising staff and volunteers
  2. Develop and implement programs and services to support families and children
  3. Collaborate with other teams within YMCA Bournemouth to ensure a holistic approach to family support
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and services, making adjustments as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as social work or youth work
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
