Support Worker for Young People with Additional Needs

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Support Worker to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to young people aged 8-16 with additional needs, including those with ASD, SEMH, and Challenging Behaviours.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting the learning and development of children, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive approach to working with young people. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with additional needs, including those with ASD, SEMH / Challenging Behaviour
  • Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation
  • Creating engaging and interactive learning activities for children
  • Encouraging children to develop their social skills and build positive relationships with others
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
