**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a Youth Support Worker to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with additional needs.

**Salary:** £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

As a Youth Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting the learning and development of young people aged 8-16 with additional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Supporting children with additional needs, including those with ASD, SEMH / Challenging Behaviour
  • Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation
  • Creating engaging and interactive learning activities for children
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working with children and young adults, particularly those with additional needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and empathetic approach to working with children
  • A commitment to consistent and effective support
