Youth Development Officer

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Youth Development Officer to support SEND pupils with complex needs, including ASD, behavioral difficulties, and SEMH needs. The successful candidate will utilize their creative background in Arts, sensory, therapy, or drama to promote confidence, distract, and positively influence learning and progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work 1:1 with pupils and provide support within the classroom.
  • Develop strong relationships and well-being with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals, and the local community.
Requirements:

  • Caring and passionate about developing relationships and well-being.
