We are seeking a highly skilled Education Support Worker to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd.

As an Education Support Worker, you will work closely with children who require additional support in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and be able to form effective relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.

About the Role:

  • Supporting class teachers with general education assistant responsibilities
  • Working with small groups of children who require additional support
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of children by accurately assessing risks
  • Collaborating effectively within a team and using your initiative
  • Communicating effectively with children and adults, both verbally and in writing

About You:

  • Able to do the job as described
  • Empathetic, patient, and caring, with a strong understanding of children's individual needs
  • Knowledgeable about SEN, predominantly with ASD
  • Skilled in forming effective relationships with children
  • Flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including guaranteed pay plans, agency worker regulations, interview preparation advice, and access to a UK GP.
