Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Youth Accommodation Manager to join our team at Stonewater. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accommodation and support services to young people aged 16-25 in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage a caseload of customers and provide person-centred, strengths-based support to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • To lead and inspire a team of Support Workers to deliver quality support sessions and activities, including sessions on finance and budget management, healthy relationships, mental health and wellbeing, and employment skills.
  • To manage referrals into the service, undertake interviews and assessments, and notify potential customers of the outcomes of these activities.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • An inspiring, motivated, and supportive leader with proven experience of working with vulnerable young people with support needs.
  • Proven experience of caseload management, with a clear focus on outcomes for customers and their wider community.
  • Working knowledge of housing and benefits advice.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a professional manner with a number of different agencies.
