About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Youth Support Professional to join our team at Horizon Care & Education. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting unaccompanied asylum seeking children and care leavers to live independently.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide practical and emotional support to young people aged 16 and above to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement individualised plans tailored to each young person's needs.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds. You should also be flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
