Job Title: Senior Technical Safety Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join our team at Orion Group. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our projects and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement safety protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain technical safety standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of project delivery.
  • Lead safety reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Engineer or certified process safety practitioner status.
  • Extensive experience in technical safety, risk assessment, and safety management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead safety initiatives.
