Education Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team at Catch22. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students, who require additional support due to emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
- Teach and support students in small groups, promoting academic achievement, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Conduct regular progress monitoring, assessments, and evaluations to inform teaching practices and student progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and external agencies to ensure seamless support and coordination.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills, knowledge, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Recognized higher qualification in education or a related field, with significant experience in teaching and planning.
- Proven track record of working with students with complex needs, behavioral difficulties, and additional learning needs.
- Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning environments.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum, equal opportunities, and safeguarding policies.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
