About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a GP Receptionist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our GP practice.
Key Responsibilities
Answering surgery telephones and making appointments
Receiving patients on arrival and dealing with repeat prescription requests
Carrying out tasks in workflow manager and booking transport
Helping patients with booking blood tests and requests
Supporting the practice manager in achieving QOF targets
Requirements
Good computer skills and experience in dealing with the public
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and audio typing
Advanced numeracy skills and excellent communication skills
Ability to work as part of an integrated multi-skilled team and under pressure
