About the Role:

NHS England is seeking an experienced Information Governance Specialist to join our team. As an Information Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with information governance regulations and records management standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of effective controls and training to ensure NHS England's compliance with information governance regulations and records management standards.
  • Lead on the expansion and development of volunteer Records & Information Management Coordinators across the organization.
  • Improve the current level of awareness and understanding of records management practices across NHS England through provision of records management advice.
  • Lead on the design and provision of records management training across the organization.
  • Support the development of a new Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) for the organization.

About the Team:

You will be part of a dynamic team delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the organization to increase awareness of Information Governance and Records Management and embed good practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience in information governance and records management.
  • Strong understanding of information governance regulations and records management standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
