Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Information Governance Specialist to join our team at TFPL & Sue Hill Recruitment. As a Records Management Professional, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operations of the Information Governance team, including file management, file intake, releases, destruction requests, data access requests, and records retention services across the firm's offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Retrieve Physical and Electronic Records: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data in the records management system, and ensure compliance with record retention procedures.
- Liaise Firm-Wide on Data Storage: Act as a point of contact regarding information governance, providing instructions and training, and liaising with the firm's offices on the appropriate locations where data is stored.
- Provide Support to Staff: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in records management, information governance system functions, and department procedures to provide support to staff.
- Review Records Management System Content: Recognize errors and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data in the records management system.
- Coordinate Archiving: Coordinate archiving and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data in the records management system.
- Demonstrate Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and possess extensive knowledge of information governance, data security, and privacy principles, best practices, and procedures.
