**About the Role**

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our Corporate Services Division as an Information Governance Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting and promoting positive change to the Council's information governance and the quality of service we provide.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support the development and implementation of information governance policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the management of Freedom of Information and Subject Access requests.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address information governance risks and opportunities.

**Requirements**

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade A-C or 9-4) or equivalent.
  • Interest in the Freedom of Information and Data Protection Acts.
  • Experience of Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Excel and Teams (or similar).
  • Keen to learn and motivated to succeed.

  • Information and Records Management Society for Individual member grade.
  • The British Computer Society for Associate member grade.
