Financial Reporting Manager

Camberley / Hybrid working

Our client, a leading PE backed SaaS business, is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals within their dynamic finance department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading a small team (3) responsible for the month-end accounting close process, ensuring all entries are posted timely and in line with accounting policies.
  • Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts for the Board, providing comprehensive commentary on variances between actual costs and budget.
  • Reviewing key risk balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, bank loan interests.
  • Business partnering with other departments, conducting monthly meetings to discuss actual spending and providing financial insights to support business decision making.
  • Preparing annual financial statements for the Group, including all statutory disclosures in accordance with accounting policies (IFRS & FRS102).
  • Assisting in the preparation of the financial budget for the company.
  • Developing and designing financial reports and saved searches to improve efficiency.
  • Systems expertise: Familiarity with Salesforce, Netsuite, or other accounting packages preferred but not essential.
  • Attention to detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting and strong Excel skills are mandatory.
