About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Reporting Manager to lead a team of accounting professionals within our dynamic finance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the month-end accounting close process, ensuring all entries are posted timely and in line with accounting policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Private Equity Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports for private equity investors, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Management Accounts Preparation: Lead the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts packs for the Board, providing comprehensive commentary on variances between actual costs and budget.
- Statutory & Technical Accounts Leadership: Review key risk balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, and bank loan interests.
- Tax & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements, including IFRS and FRS102.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a small team of accounting professionals, providing technical guidance and support.
Requirements:
- ACA Qualified: Ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in audit, preferably within a Big 4 firm.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical accounting knowledge, with experience in preparing statutory accounts and management reports.
- Systems Expertise: Familiarity with Salesforce, Netsuite, or other accounting packages preferred but not essential.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop a team, providing technical guidance and support.
- SAAS Experience: Experience within the SaaS industry is preferred, though not essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial reporting and strong Excel skills are mandatory.
- Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives forward.
