Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and support to line managers and employees on HR-related matters, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with all staff to achieve high levels of trust, respect, and professionalism.

Main Responsibilities
  • HR Advice and Guidance
    • Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employment law, policies, and procedures.
    • Act as a single point of contact for employees and liaise with line managers to resolve HR-related issues.
  • Employee Relations
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all staff to achieve high levels of trust, respect, and professionalism.
    • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • HR Operations
    • Ensure the effective management of HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
    • Collaborate with the central HR team to ensure all HR policies and practices are followed out and implemented.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and provide regular reports to the HR Manager on HR-related matters, including employee turnover, absence rates, and other relevant metrics.
    • Analyse HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Undertake other duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the Company.
    • Be flexible and show initiative in responding to changing priorities and deadlines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective way.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and related HR software.
