At the University of Leeds, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our busy team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a HR professional to take on a broad range of responsibilities, including workforce planning, recruitment, and supporting managers in dealing with staffing issues. As a key member of our team, you will be working closely with colleagues across the service to implement process improvements and enhance the service we provide.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR matters, as well as coaching and challenging managers to ensure they are adhering to good HR practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a real impact at the University of Leeds.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to service excellence and continuous service improvement. You will also need to be able to adapt quickly to changing demands and priorities, as well as being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 26 days holiday plus 16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed, a generous pension scheme options plus life assurance, and access to courses run by our Organisational Development & Professional Learning team.
