Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Addiction Recovery Specialist to join our team at Woodrow Mercer Healthcare. As a Complex Needs Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive support to individuals and communities affected by alcohol, drug, and gambling harm.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of drug, alcohol, and health-related issues. You will be part of a proud member of One Recovery Buckinghamshire (ORB), a partnership of Inclusion (MPFT NHS Trust) and Build on Belief, working together to deliver comprehensive support across Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Person-Centred Interventions: Engage individuals through tailored approaches, building resilience and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Flexible Community-Based Work: Work across community settings, including referrals from health and social care sectors.
  • Address Holistic Wellbeing Needs: Support clients in all aspects of their wellbeing, addressing complex issues such as exploitation, physical and emotional health, and substance misuse.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Qualifications: Hold a qualification in health or social care, youth and community work (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above).
  • Self-Motivated and Confident: Bring a proactive approach, taking initiative and making a difference.
  • Experience in Multi-Agency Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working effectively with voluntary and statutory agencies, engaging with health professionals, and building rapport with clients.
  • Adaptable and Detail-Oriented: A flexible approach to work, with strong record-keeping and report-writing skills.

Salary and Benefits:
