We are seeking a skilled Construction Law Specialist to join our client, one of the UK's largest house builders.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Legislative Compliance: Ensuring all construction activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  2. Contract Negotiations: Drafting and negotiating contracts for cladding projects, including agreements with contractors and suppliers.
  3. Risk Mitigation: Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with cladding remediation, providing strategic advice to senior management.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with internal teams, external contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
  5. Recovery Actions: Assisting the cladding team by procuring timely and concise external legal advice to support potential recovery actions.
  6. Advisory Services: Providing construction and building safety legal advice and support to business units and functions.
