About the Role

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our patients.

About the Position: The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and developing our therapy services to improve the quality of life for our patients. You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement treatment programmes tailored to the specific needs and ambitions of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement treatment programmes with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the OT service
  • Lead by example to inspire and motivate Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005

About You: To be successful in this role, you will need to be an ambitious and dedicated Occupational Therapist with a degree in Occupational Therapy and experience in the mental health environment. You will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively control budgets, utilize resources, and provide statistical returns on the service as requested.
