About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and develop our therapy services, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to create a safe and supportive environment for our patients to thrive.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Occupational Therapy and ideally, experience working in the mental health environment. You will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to effectively manage budgets and resources, and provide statistical returns on the service as requested.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treatment programmes with a multi-disciplinary team
- Lead by example to inspire and motivate Occupational Therapy Assistants
- Monitor and evaluate the OT service to ensure high-quality care and support
- Manage budgets and resources effectively
