Austin Fraser is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join their team at a Residential Children's Home in Norwich.
Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to provide leadership and support to the management team, ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- To support the manager in the overall management of the home, ensuring that the quality of care provided meets the highest standards.
- To deputise for the manager as required, taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the home.
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with parents, social workers, school staff, and other professionals involved in the care and well-being of our residents.
- To ensure that the specific needs of each resident are met, including dietary requirements and culturally significant activities.
- To participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs of each resident are fully understood and addressed.
Requirements:
- NVQ Qualified (Minimum Level 3) in a social care related subject
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- A caring and compassionate nature, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support
