Business Development Manager

Are you a driven and ambitious sales professional looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Kent's Hill Park, a thriving residential venue in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base through proactive sales and marketing efforts.
About the Role:
- Office-based role in Milton Keynes
- Cultivate up-to-date knowledge of both local and national businesses to drive revenue across various segments (conference, training, meetings, corporate, and transient)
- Play a key part in executing the Kent's Hill Park sales strategy through direct sales calls, telesales, appointment setting, promotional campaigns, corporate entertaining, networking events, client familiarisation visits, and contract negotiations
- Constantly identify and nurture new accounts in the corporate market
- Explore new business opportunities, entering untapped markets and territories to achieve ambitious targets
About You:
- Proven sales experience within the hotel industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident in meeting new people and presenting to groups
- Strong understanding of revenue management principles
- Driving license and vehicle
