The ideal candidate will have Advanced Excel skills and be confident in communicating and reporting to senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining monthly control schedules and posting journal adjustments for revenue.
  • Reviewing and analyzing costs.
  • Performing profitability and margin analysis across all revenue channels, providing commentary against budget/forecast.
  • Reconciling monthly stock balances.
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Contributing to Board packs by providing KPI and revenue analysis.
  • Conducting monthly financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Providing weekly KPI analysis and dashboard metrics to senior management.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly results and month-end analysis in line with Group reporting deadlines.
  • Supporting the year-end statutory audit process by preparing audit files and documentation.
  • Developing and implementing robust processes and controls to manage financial risks in line with Group requirements.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications. They will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and solid experience with ERP and finance systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and IT skills is also essential.
