AXA Group is seeking a highly motivated Credit Control Specialist to support the Financial Operations team in a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Debt Recovery, General Ledger Reconciliation, and Reporting activities within Finance Operations, and serve as the subject matter expert for resolving complex queries for AXA Health.

As a Credit Control Specialist, you will be a numerate and delivery-focused individual who can drive forward key outputs, including ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. You will deliver an efficient query resolutions service, while nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The role involves working collaboratively with the Finance Operations team to actively chase overdue debt, monitoring and supporting resolution of Trust Funding issues, contacting group and individual customers, and managing efficient query resolution for the business.

You will also be responsible for co-ordinating and preparing data to support our future debt process, monthly debt reporting and analysis, and assisting with daily controls, ensuring resolution of reconciling differences and monitoring, team monthly quality and telephone checking review.

The ideal candidate will have a high level of confidence working in Excel, strong analytical and problem-solving ability, excellent attention to detail, and good interpersonal and communication skills.

A precondition of employment for this role is that you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime, which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.

At AXA Group, we offer a competitive annual salary of up to £32,000 dependent on experience, discretionary company & performance-based bonus, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and opportunity to buy up to 5 extra days leave or sell up to 5 days leave.
