About the Role

Teneo is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communications Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our corporate communications and campaigning team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and counsel to our clients, helping them to develop and implement effective communication strategies that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business objectives and providing tailored communication solutions to meet their needs.
  • Provide Strategic Counsel: Offer expert advice and counsel to our clients on all aspects of corporate communications, including media relations, crisis communications, and reputation management.
  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Work with our clients to develop and implement effective communication strategies that drive business results, including media relations, content creation, and social media engagement.
  • Manage and Coach Team Members: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and expertise in corporate communications.
Requirements
  • 3-6 Years' Experience: A minimum of 3-6 years' experience in a communications role, preferably in a corporate communications or campaigning environment.
  • Accomplished Media Relations Skills: Proven experience in media relations, including pitching stories, securing coverage, and managing media inquiries.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver clear, concise, and compelling messages.
  • Business Acumen: A strong understanding of business principles and practices, with the ability to develop and implement communication strategies that drive business results.
