Learning Support Specialist

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Specialist to deliver tailored tuition in Functional Skills to Key Stage 1 & 2 students who are currently out of school.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced teacher looking to make a positive impact on pupil engagement and attainment levels. As a Learning Support Specialist, you will create, plan, and deliver 1:1 lessons based around Functional Skills to bridge gaps in pupils' education.
Key Responsibilities:- Create engaging and effective lesson plans to meet individual pupils' needs
- Deliver high-quality tuition in Functional Skills to support pupils' academic progress
- Monitor and track pupils' progress, making adjustments to lessons as needed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Education or a related field
- Proven experience in teaching or supporting pupils with SEN needs
- Strong subject knowledge in Functional Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a range of benefits, including:
