We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and motivated PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our committed team in Medway. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), helping them thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and professionals to design and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Work closely with the SEN team to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and external professionals to support the holistic development of each student.
  • Understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and safeguarding policies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with complex needs, promoting their independence and inclusion in all aspects of school life.
