About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Supportive Learning Partner to join our fantastic special needs school in Maidstone, supporting secondary-aged students with PMLD. As a Supportive Learning Partner, you will provide one-on-one and group support to secondary-aged students with PMLD, assisting with learning and daily tasks.

You will work closely with teachers and staff to implement personalized education plans and manage behaviour effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience while making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with PMLD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to secondary-aged students with PMLD, assisting with learning and daily tasks.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement personalized education plans and manage behaviour effectively.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, paid weekly.

Requirements
  • Willingness to travel up to an hour for work.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
  • Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly PMLD, is preferred.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.
