Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at KM Recruitment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with learners in a dynamic environment, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Location: This is a field-based position, requiring flexibility with travel.

Salary/Package: Up to £32,000 + excellent benefits package (dependent on experience)

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have assessing experience, ideally within STLS/Teaching Assistant, though this is not essential. A recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA is also required.

  • Able to assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Teaching Assistant at level 3 (up to Level 5 if competent to do so).
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Delivering via a blended learning approach (Microsoft Teams and face-to-face).
  • Efficient diary management to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting Learners: Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Teaching Assistant at level 3 (up to Level 5 if competent to do so).

Learner Progression: Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Delivery Approach: Delivering via a blended learning approach (Microsoft Teams and face-to-face).

Meet KPI's: Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely assessments / visits (when allowed), quality paperwork and general administration.
