**About the Role**

Barchester is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Lotus Manor, one of our newest care homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals to our residents.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents
  • Work with fresh produce to create high-quality dishes that meet hotel/restaurant standards
  • Bake fresh cakes, scones, and breads from scratch
  • Assist the front-of-house team with setting up dining areas
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, stock control, and budgeting
  • Create a warm, efficient, and fun environment for our residents and staff
